Tristan C
Electric Guitar, Ukulele and Music Theory
Tristan has a wealth of experience as both a teacher and a professional musician. A recent music graduate from Bristol’s DBS Institute, Tristan has been steadily building a reputation as a hard-working and versatile guitarist.
His live performances have taken him all over the UK, playing at festivals including Shambala and How The Light Gets In, with regular gigs in Bristol including opening for Joe Armon Jones - keyboardist for Mercury prize winning Ezra Collective.
Proficient in many different styles including pop, rock, blues and jazz, Tristan welcomes students of diverse musical backgrounds.
Tristan's teaching experience is also broad, helping private students achieve graded music qualifications and leading group ukulele classes in schools has enabled him to develop a versatile and informed approach to teaching.
Tristan also teaches music theory in a fun and digestible way. Students who study with Tristan will develop a foundational understanding of rhythm, harmony and melody, and will be able to apply this knowledge to better understand the music that inspires them.
